KNF in Canada

Hi, I’m completely new to KNF 3 days ago. I’m very excited to get these techniques going and see how it fares for me. I’m in southern Ontario, Canada.ย  I’m wondering if there is anything special to do to prepare soil for cold winters? Will IMO survive soil freeze?

Also is there any Canadian certification courses known out there? I’d love to bring this system here ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes IMO will survive, they just go into hibernation and will wake up in the spring time. Snow is great for insulation actually, so they will be going to sleep in the winter under that layer of snow.

i would think if u harvested local microbes they would be fine they have been living in the soil for 1000’s of yrsย  in a since it is the whole point of collecting Indigenous MicroOrganismsย  is to collect the strongest healthiest microbes in your area that have been there forever building the forest floor and surviving all the harsh elements breed them and introduce them in large numbers into your soil
