I have a question. In your KNF Recipe Book, in the OHN section it states
“Tincturing vessel is refilled 1/3 from big vessel • do not repeat this step the last time!”
Shouldn’t this say
“Tincturing vessel is refilled to 2/3 full from the big vessel • do not repeat this step the last time!”
Am I missing something?
I have watched 5 of your 6 begining videos, and bought your book, and am learning slowly. Am making OHN tinctures now from garlic, cinnamon and ginger. Can’t get angelica or licorice root here in Costa Rica.
Thanks for all your info. I would probably have given up were it not for your videos.

I have seen no justification for the recent attempted modification of the recipe from 2/3 to 1/3.……. Folks may have individually practical concerns such as affordability, as the original recipe calls for more alcohol which carries significant cost, but this is weighed against the volume of KNF Medicine rendered per usage of herbs which is significantly greater. Individual variance should be allowed as necessary, but the whole recipe should not be changed by any other reason than proven effectiveness.
so what Drake is saying is the OG recipe calls for more alcohol so the 1/3 from large vessel then 2/3 alcohol is the correct way due to the greater tincture of the herbs from more alcohol
on a personal note when i made my OHN to avoid the confusion i just went 50/50 Drake says theres a 40% leeway in KNF both +/- so over 1/3 under 2/3 …. 50/50 just sounded like the way to go

- it is the most controversial recipe in knf. folks tried to discredit me on this one, and it lead to a whole schism within the community. luckily i videoed all the original sources. this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGXnGs4Dk3k&list=PLatJX7i1alq5pNwHI25-UiHPy3e8UNire&index=5) has the truth. relevant part starts around an hour and twenty minutes in.

odd … ok well theres another way to get there lets try that … look for a folder icon that says Medicine (Oriental Herbal Nutrient) click on that and scroll down through the posts then u r looking for ohn-recipes-1-3-or-2-3-confusing is the name of the post
