Where to find IMO's in city

Hi all,

Looking to start implementing KNF practices in my garden. What are some techniques to get IMO if living in the city. I am in South Florida and there aren’t too many wild areas around here, any suggestions would be amazing. Thanks!

you are looking for old growth trees with very little human interference and lots of old fallen leaves…if you have to travel a bit to find it and have the means to do so theres a few options, one would be to make a few IMO baskets put them out in different spots to maximize your collection rates for taking the trip… IMO2 has a long shelf life so collecting a few and storing them for a few yrs in a cool dark place would be ok, another option would be to collect a bunch of leaf mold from different places and setup a indoor/at home IMO collection if you have a little extra space … check out this video for more on indoor IMO collecting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kpjd9Sv7cY&t=6sย  either way you may need to travel outside the city to find the better IMOs if theres just no spot around where you think you could get a collection from but using one of these methods or something like it would reduce the amount of times you would have to travel to get your collections

Happy Experimenting
