You can use all parts of the bamboo …KNF Growth Food (FPJ) is made with 1 type of plant at a time this is cause the microbes that live on the plant are the ones you are looking for to break down that type of plant …sugar ratios are the same when making KNF Food (FPJ) its about half the weight of the plant matter the only time it differs is when making KNF Sweet Food (FFJ) which is 1:1 by weight …..the shoots themselves i would cut in half

looking at the nutrition in corn cobs https://madbarn.com/feeds/corn-cob/ it might work for the 50% that would be the carbs needed in IMO3 it does have some fats n proteins in it that is good along with other trace minerals but you would still need the 50% carbon that makes up the rest of a IMO3

Disclaimer: Folks with PhD (permanent head damage) may argue with this , and this is just anecdotal advice.

My recommendation is to decontaminate surfaces with KNF Protectors as well as to introduce fresh Indigenous Micro Organisms into the bedding/pen area, and complete a fresh Soil Foundation Treatment, so that these microbes will sanitize the environment and make it compatible for mammalian life again.

Also, in your entry and exit points, place a pile of IMO so that each person has to walk through it and get on their feet so that the ASF is not being tracked around.

Yes, the IMO should still be “good”. It is best practice to top dress IMO applications, but without being able to directly observe the situation, in theory the IMO will begin to inoculate and persist in the environment and spread throughout the pig pen floor as the IMO has access to water and the other KNF solutions you have referenced being applied.

Your nose will know. Rice hulls are not the only thing that should be added. There should also be a foundation of wooden logs beneath the rice hulls, but I have seen just rice hulls in Korea, and minimal odor was emitted from this situation, whereas with the logs underneath there is zero odor.
