I have not received a lesson in adding wood chips to my piles but I would like to try. How much goes in? Size of chips? How fresh or dry? I am in NY state and have access to many kinds of wood chips.

I don’t have much experience at all but I am currently doing a 50% wood chips 50% oats as per
