IMO4 Smell Ammonia

I make IMO4 but starts to smell ammonia. I was planning to add this with biochar in my summer vegetable garden to do the Soil foundation. Because of ammonia smell ,is ok to use or i need to make other. Everything that i did until now was very good with your instructions. The IMO4 i cover with straws and turn every day. I didn’t exceed more than 50 C temperature. Sometimes i turn 2 times to avoid  higher  heat . What is the mistake i make. Should cover 2 days with straw and then uncover? What i must do? can i spray with lab to absolve ammonia smell?
