Making Connections

Hello! Can you tell me if there is a tutor that could mentor me as I grow in using KNF?ย  I live in Michigan.ย  I was hoping to connect with someone familiar with our climate and the plants that grow well here with natural farming.ย  So far we have had great improvements in our fruit trees, berries (raspberries, gogi, blackberries and strawberries have done well)ย  and vegetable plants have had increased yield.ย  I still need to improve the soil more –ย  (I haven’t worked with the long process IMO, just the quick ones so far) because of the clay we have.ย  But we use a lot of straw for mulch and have a TON of earthworms all over.ย  We have a lot of the small millipedes etc. also.ย  We have a black fabric over the rows with holes cut for the plants and grass/clover in between the rows (permanent beds).ย  The perennial crops have also the clover between rows.ย  It is mowed about once a week.ย  The crops we grow are various berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, gogi berries, honey berries, saskatoons, blackberries, vegetables, grapes, rhubarb and fruit trees (apple, pear, peach) we have English walnut trees which have had a reduction by about 50% in the usual husk fly and nut weevil and the yield is over the usual “maximum” yield as a result of the KNF.ย  We also have some filbert bushes and Northern pecan trees that have not yet begun yielding (are young 6+ years old).

Thanks for any help you can give ๐Ÿ™‚
