Hi! I recently strained my 7-month old FAA and store it in sealed bottles. It looked and smelled good, but it was quite thick, so I strained it with a cheese cloth 4-5 times before putting it into a bottle. It looked like I got rid of the solids and I stored the liquid solution. But, after few days, I went to use it and it was much thicker than when I bottled it up few days earlier. Why is that? Thank you!

Lipids – fats, oils, waxes, insoluble things in the fish as they cool or sit they get hard making it thicker
