In reply to: New agroforestry beds

Hi Dagoofman,

Thanks so much for all your suggestions, really appreciate it.  This community is amazing!

Ive always been a little apprehensive of planting trees with logs underneath but perhaps if we dont use too many, only here and there it will really help to fill the beds.  Ill definitely try and let you know how it goes. Im going to fill the beds nice and high with off cut wood sides, so they dont collapse at the sides.  Ill defitely be adding JMS and IMO4.  Havent managed to get biochar going yet but will give it a try soon.

Can’t make your own home-made equivalent? If your recipe calls for 1kg of potassium hydroxide, use 3kg of wood ash, put it in a container that allows you to compact the ash and has holes in the bottom. For every 1kg of ash, run 3l of hot water through it. If you have the equipment to measure the pH, it should be around 13. Corn stalk and sunflower ash are good sources of potassium. Bamboo, as well as any other grass, is also excellent.

Be careful! Limestone raises the pH significantly, which causes nitrogen to volatilize in the form of ammonia, which is toxic to people and animals! It’s fine in soil, but in compost or especially in chicken manure, where there’s a lot of nitrogen, it can be dangerous! But after all, why would you want to put limestone on your poultry’s floor? Do you want a fertilizer with more calcium? It’s better to apply limestone directly to your soil.

In reply to: Too many salt

first we need to know how you added more salt was it 10x more in the dilution of salt to water (i.e. 300g of salt per liter) or was it 10xs more the diluted salt water (i.e. 10k ml per gallon of SW) and how/where was it applied (i.e. a garden bed or an open field)

I would not recommend it. Colostrum is full of all kinds of things that are not vital to the KNF Protector process.

It’s not that you can’t, but that it would have much more float to the top that isn’t the proteins sinking to the bottom in the serum that you want.

BEI Hawaii ! http://www.beihawaii.com

It comes in 55 lbs bags so be ready with a large plastic tote to store it in with a good lid. Obviously you want to keep it DRY. It’ll probably last you 20 years depending on how much soap you’re planning to make.

I’ll just add, Master Cho did not come up with “Maintenance Solution” or ever spoke of it. Drake came up with MS by looking at the common denominators of each of Cho’s formulations. At first we combined food, cleanser and medicine and ran with that for several years. Later Drake noticed knfStructure (WCAP) was also a common denominator in almost all the Cho’s formations, so that was added into MS. In practice I can tell you the knfStructure is vital.

As of right now the foundation membership and knfSupport websites are not integrated and require separate logins/accounts made for them.
